Kelly Jarrard is a twenty-seven year old singer-songwriter from Stockbridge, Georgia. Self-taught on guitar, by the age of thirteen Kelly began writing her own material influenced by the Motown, Soul, Rhythm & Blues, and Jazz music that surrounded her growing up. During high school, Jarrard was a member of the American Choral Director’s Association (ACDA) and the All-State Reading Choir, while taking advantage of every performance opportunity given. Furthering her studies, Kelly graduated with honors from Clayton State University with a Bachelors degree in Music with a focus in Vocal Performance. Since then you may have heard Kelly aboard the Disney Wonder® as she performed around the coast of Mexico, Colombia, Panama, Canada, Alaska, and the United States.
She now resides in Central Florida as a full time musician gigging in local hotspots awaiting the release of her debut album, “It’s Time” produced by Billy Chapin (Don Henley, Backstreet Boys, OTown). Kelly wants her love of the artists that influenced her (Amy Winehouse, Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, Marvin Gaye) to shine through on her original compositions. “My goal is to provide listeners with something hip yet soulfully raw.” says, Kelly.
